MYLELIA Water Mill

 

 “Ta Mylelia Water Mill” is a small-scale producer of traditional Greek food products offering a variety of 150 different artisanal products.

All products have a gourmet touch and include mainly air-dried fresh vegetable and egg pastas, vegetable and fruit preserves, pates, smoked olives, aromatic olive oils and vinegars and honey desserts

Ta Mylelia" were founded in 1992 when we restored a 305 year old watermill on Lesvos Island, Greece.

"Ta Mylelia Water Mill" use no preservatives, basing their production on traditional preservation methods such as the use of extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, liqueur, honey, dehydration and sterilization. These are their secrets for long lasting, all-natural products.

In international competitions they have won 16 Gold and Silver awards and are proud to say that 65% of “Ta Mylelia Water Mill” products are exported to small specialty food stores around the world.

Each product is produced under strict hygienic conditions and all products, as well as their premises, are certified by TUV AUSTRIA, with the International Food Safety Management System ISO 22000:2005.

All products have barcodes and labels in English and five other languages. All labels comply with the food labeling regulations and company has a registration number with the FDA.
